“The weekend trip started on Friday afternoon. We spent the night in Mississippi on our long trip to Louisiana. We stopped on our way to the church to visit the Duck Commander store where the Duck Dynasty show began. It’s just a few miles from the church, and it was interesting to hear some of the stories about the series. We had a wonderful revival at the West Monroe Church of God. We haven’t seen our good friends the Cunningham’s in such a long time. It was so good to be able to fellowship with them and spend time reminiscing about the past. We met some precious people at the West Monroe church. There was such a wonderful spirit of revival, and 5 souls came forward to be saved. One precious lady said she has been praying for her husband for over 20 years, and he was in the altar on Sunday morning crying out to God for forgiveness. Please don’t ever give up on your loved ones! Keep praying for them, and call out to God on their behalf. The Holy Spirit continues to speak to the hearts of the lost, and the power of conviction is what it will take to lead them to repentance. Remembering the tears of joy and the rejoicing of the saints really helped with the long trip home.”
